The new national standard for the plastic runway, which has been revised for about two years, was released on May 14 and is expected to be formally implemented on November 1. After the implementation of the new national standard, the GB/T 19851.11-2005 recommended standard released in 2005 will be abolished during the same period, and China's sports ground material industry will be measured with a new scale.

Lin Fanqiu believes that the introduction of the new national standard is a good thing for the industry as a whole. Due to the negative impact of the "problem track" in the previous two years, many schools or other institutions almost stopped the construction of plastic tracks for safety reasons. "The new national standard gives a unified, quantifiable and transparent standard, and is mandatory and must be implemented, which is a 'law enforcement basis' for regulatory units and owners who do not understand chemical indicators." Schools around the country should start building plastic running tracks this year, after all, there is still a large demand for school sports activities."

Therefore, Lin Fanqiu believes that the sports ground material industry, which was hit hard by the runway storm in the previous two years, will usher in a great rebound this year, and enter a period of rapid growth with the vigorous development of national fitness and campus sports, "the entire industry is conservatively estimated to have at least twice the growth this year."

Lin Fanqiu is also a member of the China Sports Goods Industry Federation. He said that in the past two years, the industry is also actively reflecting on and looking forward to the reconstruction of market order. The pain has brought an opportunity for self-purification and upgrading to the industry, and high-quality development has become a consensus.
